The fund for research on nature conservation FONA aims to promote research on nature conservation by students and volunteers
1) to contribute to nature conservation world wide; 2) to promote research as a basis for good nature conservation; 3) to invest into the professional development of future nature conservationist. FONA has a limited budget to support research proposals and the board evaluates proposals twice a year. In addition, FONA actively supports students in becoming part of projects of the other FIN members.
